Make both your wish and a child’s wish come true!

The goal of the activity Jump for Life is to raise funds for the Children’s Wish Foundation. Since 2010, it is more than $91,500 that has been given to the foundation thanks to all our charitable donors and the courageous people who dared skydiving for the cause.This year our goal is to raise $15,000 to make a child’s wish come true!

From 8:00 a.m. join us in Lévis on Saturday, September 8 to contribute creating the magic of a child's wish!

During the day, you will be able to snack on hot-dogs, corn on the cob, juice, water, soft drinks, coffee, etc. at a very low cost and all profits from these sales will also go to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

This day is meant to be a family day where all friends and relatives can come see and cheer the skydivers meanwhile enjoying activities for young and old. Admission on site is free, as well as all the activities, all day long! You’ll be able to enjoy the following:

Registration for the tandem jump

A $60 deposit (presale) or $100 (regular price) will be asked to secure your reservation and the balance will be due the day of the event, payable directly at Parachutisme Atmosphair Center.

If you wish to pay by cheque, please send us an email. We will send you a registration form you will have to send us back with your deposit: quebecunsautpourlavie@gmail.com.

PLEASE NOTE:
If the bad weather should prevent this event from happening, it would not be rescheduled due to the massive logistical undertaking it requires. If the event should be cancelled, the decision would be made the same day, in the morning, by the team at Parachutisme Armosphair. As soon as the decision would be made, all the participants would be contacted by email. They would then be able to obtain a certificate ($260 value including tax) for a skydiving jump they may use at an other convenient time.

Your deposit is non-refundable. If you do have to cancel, your deposit will be given in full to the Children’s Wish Foundation and if desired, a charitable tax receipt will be sent to you. If you have a great impediment on the day of the event, your deposit will still be given to the Children’s Wish Foundation, but you may be able to reschedule your jump at the special rate of $260 although it’s mandatory that you contact us to be able to benefit this offer.

About the children’s wish foundation

The Children’s Wish Foundation grants their most heartfelt wish to children aged 3 to 17 living with life-threatening illnesses. For a child fighting a serious illness, the excitement he or she feels while planning their most heartfelt wish brings joy, hope and courage to cope with the treatments. Furthermore, it allows their whole family to share a wonderful experience together and build memories they’ll keep forever.

Highlights

Since its establishment in 1984, the Children’s Wish Foundation has granted over 25,000 wishes across Canada, of which 7,500 in the province of Quebec. This year, the Foundation hopes to grant more than a thousand new wishes.
The Children’s Wish Foundation has pledged to never turn away an eligible child.
Requests for wishes are continuously rising.
Upon the most popular wishes are trips, computers, home theatres, and meeting with celebrities.
The most frequent high-risk life threatening illnesses are cancer, cystic fibrosis, cardiac conditions, muscular dystrophy and diseases requiring organ transplants.
Most children are referred to the Foundation by family members or health care practitioners.
The Foundation can count on more than 5,000 volunteers, 400 of which are in Quebec. Thanks to their involvement, the Foundation can maintain its operating costs under 14% of its revenues.
The Children’s Wish Foundation doesn’t receive any government funding.
Children’s Wish try raising awareness and getting public’s support to the cause of children through media events such as the Wishmaker Walk and Flight in Search of Santa.
There are many ways to support the Foundation: by making an individual donation, a specific bequest or a corporate donation; by taking part in events such as the Children’s Wish Golf Classic or the Wishmaker Walk; by organizing fundraising activities for the benefit of the Foundation; by offering a donation in memory of a loved one, or as a gift (for example for a wedding, Christmas, an anniversary, etc.)
